Led by men who’ve walked this path, we create spaces rooted in trust, curiosity, and growth. Through expert-led groups and transformative programs, we stand together, helping men thrive in life with clarity, connection, and fulfillment. Here, we grow together.

Our mission is to create community and conversations where guys can share what’s REALLY happening in their lives.

Established in 1973 in Staunton, Virginia, People Places was one of the nation’s first treatment foster care agencies. As a licensed, nonprofit child placing agency, our services have grown over the past five decades to encompass several additional community-based services. We serve the Shenandoah Valley and Central Piedmont regions with offices in Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, and Staunton, Virginia, U.S.A. They also have a support group for fathers.

We’re dedicated to creating spaces where individuals affected by the justice system—both youth and adults—can embark on a journey of healing, discover their purpose, and lead lives filled with meaningful service to others. Inside Circle firmly believes that true strength emerges from embracing vulnerability, not resorting to violence. Our experiences have taught us that those who have walked through the shadows of trauma possess a unique power to guide others toward light and recovery. Our miss
About:
Elysia Buss
Founder of Global Resources for Men
Visionary Consultant, Transformative Confidence Coach & Speaker
Elysia has been advocating for men's rights since 2020. She founded Global Resources for Men when her friend, Jake LaRue who is a former U.S. Marine said he wished he had a group of guys he could talk to about masculinity. The more men she spoke to, the more she realized how unseen they felt and how much they were struggling. Research shows that suicide rates for men are 3-6x higher than women, depending on the country's statistics. She decided to create a safe, non judgmental space for men to be able to build community and receive support where they finally felt seen, heard, understood and accepted. A place to courageously step forward where they're at in life, honor the process to heal and be their greatest self.
